Storing Your Collection: Sleeves, Toploaders and Beyond
Humidity, sunlight and loose binders ruin more cards than anything else. Protect yours.
Every card worth more than a few dollars belongs in a penny sleeve and a toploader or semi-rigid holder.
Keep cards out of direct sunlight. UV light fades colors and autographs over time.
Store boxes in a cool, dry room. Basements and attics swing in humidity and can warp cardboard.
For your top cards, consider graded slabs or magnetic one-touch cases for display.
