Case Breaks Explained: Are They Worth It?
Random teams, live streams and big hits. Here's how breaks work and how to play them smart.
In a break, collectors buy spots, usually a team, and receive every card from that team pulled from the boxes opened live.
Team prices vary a lot. Teams with hot rookies cost more because they're more likely to land valuable cards.
Calculate expected value: total break cost divided by the number of spots, versus what a typical team's cards sell for.
Only break with established breakers who stream every box opening and ship quickly. Treat breaks as entertainment, not investing.
